Important Precautionary Measures – Foot-and-Mouth Disease
Dear Visitors of the Hohe Wand Nature Park,
As you may have already heard in the media, cases of Foot-and-Mouth Disease have recently been reported in regions near the border. This animal disease is highly contagious and poses a serious threat to both farm animals and wildlife.
In order to continue offering you enjoyable hikes and animal experiences in our Nature Park — while at the same time protecting our animals in the best possible way — we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.
Please observe the following important precautionary measures:
Keep a safe distance from all our animals.
Do not feed the animals under any circumstances.
Entry into stables and enclosures is strictly prohibited.
Please use the disinfectant mat provided at the entrance when entering the park.
Every single precaution helps us to keep our animals healthy and to prevent the spread of Foot-and-Mouth Disease.
Thank you very much for your understanding and support!
Your Hohe Wand Nature Park Team
