The Hohe Wand Nature Park

The cultural landscape, which has been awarded the title "Nature Park", with its special flora and fauna, extends over the entire Hohe Wand with more than 2,000 hectares.

Animal lovers, families with children, hikers, nature photographers, bon vivants - they all appreciate the wooded plateau in the Vienna Alps.

Without much effort, the mountain road, built in 1932, takes you up to about 1,000m above sea level. The various circular hiking trails lead to the most beautiful places - lookout tower, rock path or Skywalk observation deck provide fascinating views.

On days with good weather, paragliders fly through the air.  An experience that is open to everyone! Because the flight school Hohe Wand offers tandem flights!
